We helped an Old Lady move back into her home from her FEMA trailer, by cleaning it. We Helped a man get rid of the clutter at his house so the city wouldn't demo it. We helped Doug, Ila and Beaux surprise the Grandparents by cleaning and remodeling the house.

Spring Retreat '08
For our Spring Retreat ’08 we went to The Gulf Shores Beach Retreat in Gulf Shores, Alabama. We had a totally awesome time. With the S. Baton Rouge Church of Christ going along, we had nearly 75 people, on this trip. God Blessed us with perfect weather, great food, great company, challenging lessons, wonderful worship, beautiful beaches, safe travel, and NO HEALTH or BUS PROBLEMS! God is so GOOOD!! Thank You to all who went and mage this a rewarding trip, especially the Chaperones who took such good care of our young people.

Awesome Week! Over 100 people came to camp this year. We Had So Much Fun Too. The thing that suprised me most though, was that this year the girls had the best prank. Remember the shaving cream war Friday night.
The best part of the week was recieving two new souls into the Kingdom of God. Coby Bolding and were both Baptized this week. PRAISE GOD!!

Uplift ’08
June 28th - July 3rd
Uplift knocked it out of the park this year. I mean every lesson, class, event and time just rocked. There were about 800 youth from all over and what seemed like a dozen baptizms every night. Two of our young ladies were baptized; Ana McReynolds & Carly Bell. Welcome to THE FAMILY.

| End Of Summer Lock-In

Champions, DeQuincy and Maplewood Joined Us for the Night. We went to Beaumont to go-cart race, play Arcade Games, Bumper-Boat, and Phazer Zone @ Sports Connection. We did a Prayer Walk @ McNeese S.U. to pray for all the incoming students, and their Faculty and Staff. We eat Breakfast @ I.H.O.P. too. All in All, we had an awesome time.

Family Work Day
Last Saturday we worked on the Building from 8am to 6pm. What an amazing day. We accomplished so much and the progress on the Youth Facility is remarkable. Everyone worked so hard and I cant thank you enough, nor can the youth. To the Youth that worked last Saturday, I’m so proud of you. You showed God and the church just how responsible and devoted you are to the project and ministry.
